The Librarian
(Yes, I know what today is. No, I’m not going to write about it.)
There are things that I like that are so specific to me that I would never recommend them to anyone else. One of these things is TNT’s Librarian trilogy. The series is a few years old, but my wife (http://twitter.com/bchapmandvm) set our DVR to record them recently and we watched them over several days.
The movies aren’t great. They’re basically Indiana Jones fan fiction starring Noah Wyle. A lot of the writing is lazy and the special effects are sometimes embarrassing, but everything else speaks so directly to my inner ten-year-old that I enjoyed the heck out of them anyway*.
So I’m not recommending that anyone watch these movies, but they’re pretty awesome if you’re me.
*Ten year old Stephen says “heck”.
